Ann Ruth (Nagel) Land

Ann Ruth Land – age 72 of Charlotte was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.  Ann was born on December 15, 1943 and was proceeded in death by her parents Rev. Floyd and Mabel Nagel.  Ann married Dale Land on November 18,1966 while he served in the US Air Force.  She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Dale, and her children Ruth and David Sheppard and  granddaughters Katelynn and Meghan Sheppard, and her son, Nathan.  Also surviving are her sisters-in-law, Muriel Land and Esther Land.  Through research, Nathan located Ann’s biological siblings in 1993.  A graduate of Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music (now Cornerstone University), Ann was a devoted mother and grandmother.  Her fun-loving nature connected her with a variety of people who enjoyed her passion of knitting, and she continued to keep connected with school friends.  She also worked for several years at local department stores as jewelry display coordinator.  Ann was a member of South Baptist Church in Lansing where she had many friends.  A service to honor the faith and life of Ann Land will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunfield United Brethren Church, 8436 W Grand Ledge Hwy.,(M-43), Sunfield, MI 48890.
