Born March 11, 1931, went home peacefully to be with Jesus on Nov. 29, 2019, at the age of 88.

Greatly loved as wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Alice was married to Calvon for 71 years; she was a devoted pastor’s wife.  Willingly using her talent of playing piano to serve the Lord.

She was a loving mother of 4 daughters, Joy, Janet, Mary, and Vee, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and their dog Buddy.

She loved to entertain, playing piano and singing, gospel music was a favorite of hers. They taught their girls to sing at a very early age, in harmony for worship.

Alice had very deep values for family. She loved gardening and canning the fruits of her labor.

Picnicking in the back yard with family and friends was another favorite, with music and gospel songs. Guitars and keyboard were all they needed, to get the party started. Everyone was welcomed to sing.

Celebration of Life services 11:00 am – Friday Dec. 6, 2019 at Kilpatrick United Brethren Church, 10005 W. Barnum Rd. Woodland, 48897.  Visitation/Viewing 10-11:00 am Friday Dec. 6, 2019.  Luncheon to follow services.  Grave side service 2:30 pm Friday at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice, or Cancer research.
