Albert K. Ainsworth, age 81, of Lake Odessa, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Albert was born on April 7, 1942 to Keith and Hildred (Wheaton) Ainsworth in Charlotte, MI. Albert was an avid sports enthusiast, he excelled in high school and then when he had children and grandchildren, he made it a point to attend every event near and far. He started his own construction company, A & N Excavating, then he ended his working career as a heavy equipment operator at E.T. Mackenzie in Grand Ledge, MI.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Darcy (Lance) Hazel; beloved grandchildren, Lauren (Makay) Markwart and Logan Hazel; 2 very special beloved great-grandsons, Beckett and Porter Markwart.

Albert was preceded in death by his son, Lance Ainsworth; parents; sister, Janis Ainsworth; brother, Allan Ainsworth.

Visitation will be Monday, February 12, 2024 at Sunfield United Brethren Church from 5 to 7 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan or the VFW Lake Odessa.
