Albert “Jim” Debler of Sunfield, age 83, passed away at Sparrow Hospital Wednesday May 11, 2016.  He was born to John G. and Pauline (Schindler) Debler in Grand Ledge, Michigan, on April 1, 1933.  Jim was a graduate of Charlotte High School.   He worked on the farm for Niles and Mary Litchfield before working at Debler Implement in Mulliken, where he took great pride being a well-respected Massey Ferguson mechanic.  He then worked at McCormick in Ionia until he retired.  Jim enjoyed mowing his lawn and working in his garden and sharing his vegetables with friends and family.  Jim married Malene Linville Morris on April 4, 1977.  They were happily married until she predeceased him in 1992.  He also was preceded in death by his siblings:  Bertha, Edward Sr., Edith, Mary, Ervin, and Robert.   Jim leaves behind his special friend Ilene Carr and stepchildren, Wanda (Buck) Baldwin, Michael (Connie Gorga), Chris, Ryan (Karen), and Marty (Theresa).  He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday June 17, 2016, at Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel, Sunfield, Michigan.  The family will receive friends at 9:30 AM Friday prior to the service.  There will be a meal after the service at 12:00 PM at the Masonic Lodge in Mulliken, Michigan.   Contributions may be made to River Inn Adult Foster Care in memory of Jim.  The family is being served by the Independent Family Owned Funeral Home in Sunfield: Rosier Funeral Home.  Please feel free to leave condolences and sign the register book, order flowers, and/or light a candle in memory of Jim.   www.rosierfuneralhome.com
