Alice E. Wright of Sunfield, age 90, went to be with her Lord on April 2, 2016.  She was born to Levi and Edna Curtis in Dowagiac, MI on December 9, 1925.  Alice graduated Valedictorian from Dowagiac High School.  Alice worked for many years and retired from The State of Michigan, Mental Health Department as an Executive Secretary.  Alice enjoyed bingo, fishing, bowling, crafts and square dancing.  She enjoyed being with family and friends playing cards or just having a good conversation.  Alice is survived by one son, Leonard Brown Jr. (Joanne), two daughters, Susan (Brown) Rice and Tracey Brown all from Sunfield, MI, stepchildren, Henry (Patricia) Wright Jr. from Oklahoma, Joan (David) Edmonds from Muir, MI, Karen (Anthony) Huesca from Georgia, Jack (Carol) Wright from Bloomfield Hills, MI, Karolyn Wright from Holt, MI, sister-in-laws Beverly (Charles) Hadley, Janet Bryner, Sally Buckley, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry G. Wright, step-son Jim Wright and sister-in-law Katherine Howard, brothers, Gene (Ruth) Curtis, Russell (Marion) Curtis.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday April 16, 2016 at Sunfield United Brethren Church with Rev. Darrel Bosworth officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service.  Contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospice in memory of Alice.  The family is being served by the Independent Family Owned Funeral Home in Sunfield: Rosier Funeral Home.  Please leave condolences and sign the register book, and or light a candle in memory of Alice. www.rosierfuneralhome.com
