She was brought at a young age to St Vincent’s Home for Children in Detroit after her father died in January 1933.
She returned to live with her family in Grand Ledge, Michigan as a young teenager.

She has numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand kids, great grand kids, and great great grand kids, all of whom will mourn the loss of her wonderful presence.
The single most common remark in response to her death was of her sweet spirit. Our mom was the definition of love.
1 Cor 13:4-7. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
