Gary Blanchard, 70, of Mulliken, MI, passed away on October 3rd, 2022. Gary was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI in March 1952.
Gary, an avid fisherman, often would refer to himself as, “Walleye King”. If he had free time, you could find him on his boat or in his ice shanty. He loved the outdoors and knew all secret places to find the best mushrooms. He was a hard worker, after retiring from General Motors in 2006, he kept himself busy by running his own business, GB Handyman. “If I can’t fix it, I will find someone who can”. While stubborn, he had a sense of humor and was always cracking jokes. Not to mention a heart of gold. Gary would give you the shirt off his back should a person need something.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emerson and Evelyn Blanchard; Brothers Dale, William and Larry Blanchard; and sister Judy Jordan.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle (Michael) Dublis; grandchildren Mason and Ava; his sisters Sandra (Ken) Teremi, Bernadine Green, Jackie Boyle; many nieces and nephews and friends.
