Jeffery Les Hummel

Jeffery Les Hummel passed from this life Saturday February 29, 2020 at the age of 60.  He was born in Ionia, MI February 25, 1960, son of Harold and Phyllis Hummel. Jeff is survived by his wife, Vickie Lee (Rogers) Hummel, 3 children, Nicholas (Alicia) Hummel, Natalee (Josh) Rinck, and Nathan (Kyree) Hummel, 7 grandchildren, Connor, Keith, and Kiara Barke, Brooke Rinck, Audriaunna, Adonis, and Alexander Hummel, brothers, Perry (Pam), Jody, and Greg (Colleen) Hummel, Father and Mother-in-law, Duane & Marion Rogers, brothers-in-law, Mike Daugherty, Everett (Amy), and Tim Rogers. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his sister Penny Daugherty, and Aunt Rita “Pete” Miller.

Jeff loved to tear things apart and tinker with them.  He loved woodworking, hunting, and fishing.  His all-time favorite was playing with his grandchildren.  Jeff took his last breath with his wife of 40 years by his side.  Jeff just turned 60 years old on February 25, 2020, when he celebrated his last earthly birthday with family and friends.  In memory of Jeff, contributions may be made to a local Hospice of your choice.
