Paul Jeffery Morehouse, a free spirit who found his greatest joy in the open road and the quiet stillness of the woods, passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 74.
Born on May 16, 1951, Paul lived life on his own terms- boldly, unapologetically, and with a deep appreciation for the simple, untamed beauty of the world around him. Whether he was riding his motorcycle down a winding back road or tracking game at dawn, he felt most alive in motion and in nature.
An avid hunter, Paul respected the land and all it provided. He understood patience, skill, and the balance of life in the wild. To him, hunting wasn’t just a pastime-it was a way to connect, reflect and carry on traditions that meant something deeper than words.
His love for motorcycles was just as profound. The rumble of an engine and the freedom of the highway were his escape and his home all at once. Friends and family will remember him as someone who could never sit still for long, always chasing the next horizon with a grin and a story to tell.
Paul was known for his independent spirit and the ability to find humor in all situations. He didn’t need grand gestures-his presence spoke for itself.
He is survived by his wife of 37years, Tammy (Apsey) Morehouse, siblings; Vickie (late Don) Thorp, Sandy (late Rich) Veith (Doug), Allen (Kathy) Apsey and Cheryl (late Gary) Apsey.
Daughters; Cassandra (Jeff) Graszler, Kimberly (Nathon) Minor and Jamie (Derek) Szpur.
Sons; Joshua Morehouse, Jason (Heather) Stoneham and Jeremy Stoneham.
