Robbin Boucher Obituary

Robbin Ray Boucher

Mulliken, MI

On June18, 2020 Robbin lost his courageous battle with cancer.  Robbin was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 25, 1956 to Albert and Leta Boucher.  He is survived by his children Nathan (Jamie) Boucher and Cherie (Johnny) Johnson. Brothers Terry (Helen) Boucher, Dan (Trisha) Boucher. Sisters Bonnie (late Victor) Comstock, Renee (Dennis) Martin.  Grandchildren Garrett, Halie, Ellie, Tyson, Lydia, and Jaxson.

Robbin's family was his number one priority in life. He enjoyed spending his summers at his cottage in Pentwater with them.  He spent countless nights fishing from the dock on Bass Lake.  The day was topped off with ice cream and a bonfire.  From parades with The Clown Band to spending time on the beach, this was a very special place for him with his family.

Robbin took great pride in his work as a Health and Safety Representative for General Motors.  He dedicated 44 years of his life working there.  During that time, he made many lifelong friends.

Volunteer work was also very important to Robbin. He was a volunteer firefighter for Roxand Township under his father, Chief Albert Boucher. He ran the Easter pancake breakfast for years at his long-time church, Sunfield United Brethren. He also was a volunteer coach when his children played youth sports. Before that he chopped beef at many Ox Roast dinners at the Mulliken Homecomings.

But most of all PaPa loved his "Babies” They were the light of his life.  He lived every day for them. He would go to as many events as he could, from football games to dance recitals to softball games.  Anyone can tell you that he couldn't have been more proud of them all.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Robbin may be made to “Regents of the University of Michigan.”  C/O Cherie N. Johnson 7115 W. St. Joseph Hwy. Mulliken, MI  48861.
