Vickie passed away Friday January 22, 2016 at her residence in Ionia at the age of 62.  She was  born Nov. 15, 1953 at St. Lawrence hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Daughter of Billy McDiarmid and Phyllis (Hosey) Bridges.  Vickie graduated from Lakewood high school class of 1971.  She worked as a waitress in Michigan and Florida her whole working career and enjoyed getting to know her customers and always had regulars at every place she worked that became like family. She had a servant's heart.  She enjoyed NASCAR, Green Bay packers, college basketball, dogs, avid coca-cola memorabilia and angel collector, listening to Christian music and watching Daystar Christian broadcasting. Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Bridges, brothers, Billy McDiarmid and Bruce McDiarmid, sister, Dianna Cooke, step-father, Scott Bridges, step-mother, Barbara McDiarmid.  Surviving are her father, Billy McDiarmid, husband, Rick Czech, sister, Shelia (Rick) Stank, step-sister, Shirley Freeman, sister-in-law, Eileen Roman, brother-in-law, Keith Cooke,  children,  Addie (Norris) Mikolajczyk, Darcy (Jim) Edwards, Troy (Deborah) Black, step-children, Michelle Allen and Dan Zimmer, grandchildren,  Dan Mikolajczyk, Rebecca Mikolajczyk, Ashlee Mikolajczyk, Amanda Mikolajczyk, Kyle Mikolajczyk, Alexandra Edwards, Nickolas Edwards, Zachary Edwards, Amy Holcomb, Adam (April) Claflin, Alyson (Christopher) Fox, Nick Allen and Ryan Allen. Great grandchildren: Colton Mikolajczyk, Rylee Miller, MacKenzie Holcomb, Orion Holcomb, Lyalka Burns, Mercutio Burns and Ethan Hawkins and all of her canine grandchildren that she doted on and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with viewing will be held on Tuesday Jan. 26, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel in Sunfield, MI.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM - Wednesday Jan. 27, 2016 at the Sunfield United Brethren Church with Rev. John Prominski officiating from the Resurrection Life Church in Ionia, MI.  Contributions may be made in memory of Vickie to the American Cancer Society or Villalobos (A Pitbull Rescue).  Interment will be in the Sunfield Cemetery.  The family is being served by the Independent Family Owned Funeral Home in Sunfield: Rosier Funeral Home.
