Vita Marie Ferry 97, of Hastings Michigan, passed away on February 16, 2022.
Vita was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Elmer C. Ferry.
Vita is survived by her children, Julie Heide, Ron (Patty) Ferry. Grandchildren Brian Ferry, Shannon (Brent) Barker, Rebecca (Todd) Wigg, Jeff (Renee) Heide, Eric (Teresa) Heide,
Great grandchildren Ella Barker, Kara Barker, Maya Barker, Colton Ferry, Madison Ferry, Grant (Margo) Heide, Elizabeth Heide, Luke (Ashley) Heide, Ben Heide, Erin Heide, Quentin Wigg, Jordyn Wigg. Great Great Grandchildren Loralye Heide, Declan Heide, Keenan Heide.
Vita was born in Freeport, Illinois on July 8, 1924 to Hazel and Jesse Weckerly. She was one of 6 brothers and sisters who grew up in the Great Depression and World War II. She truly was one of the Greatest Generation and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
